Ana's Secret Guide to Italy is an independent travel media platform providing editorial guides, curated experiences and travel resources focused on Florence and Tuscany, operated by AppyGuide Sàrl, a company registered in Switzerland. References to "the Site" include www.anassecretguide.com and any associated purchase or checkout pages operated by AppyGuide Sàrl, including appyguide.com.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and store your personal data, including our use of cookies. By using the Site you accept it. If there is any conflict between these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy in relation to personal data, the Privacy Policy applies.
2. Use of Content
All content on this Site — including text, photographs, guides, maps, videos and audio — is the intellectual property of Ana's Secret Guide to Italy unless otherwise stated, and is protected by copyright law.
You may read and share our content for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you credit Ana's Secret Guide to Italy and link back to the original page. You may not reproduce, republish, sell or distribute our content — in whole or in part — without our prior written permission. 3. Accuracy of Information
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on this Site. However, travel information — including opening hours, prices, availability and contact details — changes frequently. We cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate at the time of your visit, and we recommend verifying details directly with the relevant venues, operators or institutions before your trip.
4. Purchases and Payment Processing
Map purchases: Digital maps purchased through the Site are processed securely by Wix Payments. We do not collect or store your payment card details. All transactions are handled by Wix in accordance with their terms of service and PCI DSS standards. Refunds and cancellations are covered in Section 5.
Audio guide purchases: Audio guides are purchased through a secure Stripe checkout window hosted on appyguide.com. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their terms of service and PCI DSS standards. Refunds and cancellations are covered in Section 5.
Tour and experience bookings: Tours and experiences booked through or facilitated by Ana's Secret Guide to Italy are paid for via a Stripe payment link sent to you by email. We do not store or process your card details at any point. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe in accordance with their terms of service and PCI DSS standards. Refunds and cancellations are covered in Section 5.
5. Bookings, Cancellations and Refunds
Bookings
A tour or experience booking is confirmed only once payment has been received in full. Requests made by email or message do not constitute a confirmed booking until payment is completed.
Cancellations by you
Cancellations must be made in writing to info@appyguide.com. The date we receive your written cancellation is the date used to calculate any refund.
Tours and experiences. Cancellations received 35 or more days before the tour date are refunded the total amount paid, less a €50 administration fee per tour and a payment processing charge of 5% of the original booking value. Cancellations received fewer than 35 days before the tour date are non-refundable. Failure to attend a booked tour ("no-show") is non-refundable.
Digital maps and audio guides. All digital products, including maps and audio guides, are final and non-refundable once delivered, accessed or downloaded, regardless of the payment method used.
Cancellations by us
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, illness or force majeure events. In such cases, a full refund will be offered or an alternative date proposed, at your choice. The fees set out above do not apply to cancellations made by us.
Refunds
Refunds are issued in EUR to the original payment method within 10 working days of our written confirmation of the cancellation. We are not responsible for differences in the amount you receive arising from exchange rates or fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
6. Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships
Some links on this Site are affiliate links or partner links, meaning we may receive a commission or fee if you make a purchase or booking through them. This does not affect the price you pay. We only recommend products, services and experiences we genuinely believe in. Where promotional codes or exclusive discounts are offered, these are provided in good faith and subject to availability.
7. Third-Party Websites
This Site contains links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of those sites or their content. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party website.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
This Site and its content are provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppyGuide Sàrl shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content, including but not limited to travel decisions made based on information published here, or any issues arising from third-party payment processing by Wix or Stripe.
10. User Conduct
When using this Site or participating in our community spaces, you agree not to post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, offensive or misleading, not to infringe the intellectual property rights of others, and not to use the Site for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
11. Newsletter and Communications
By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving editorial updates and occasional partner offers by email. You may unsubscribe at any time. We will never sell your email address to third parties.
Your email address and any other personal data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
